Samuel Fuller was born in 1608 in Redenhall, Norfolk, England, to Edward Fuller and an unknown mother (possibly Anne Payne Hopkins). He had four sons and four daughters with Jane Lothrop.
Samuel traveled on the Mayflower with his parents, at the age of twelve. He became an orphan after both of his parents died during the first winter in Plymouth, leaving him in the care of his uncle, Dr. Samuel Fuller. Samuel married Jane Lothrop on April 8th, 1635 in Scituate, Plymouth, Massachusetts. He would later move his family to Barnstable, Massachusetts. Samuel was one of the last surviving Mayflower passengers. He was also the only passenger to own a slave (a Native American man named Joell).
