In 1825, Samuel purchased Lot #44 of the Saratoga Patent.
A Washington County Post Mortgage Notice revealed that Wesley Winton took over the farm that Abner operated for more than 60 years. Abner’s farm was leased from Gen. Philip Schuyler of Albany. It was Farm #5 on Great Lot #41 of the Saratoga Patent.

Samuel’s sister Cyntha married second David Winton, perhaps related to Margaret’s first husband?
